Susan is a Senior Mathematical Statistician reviewer in CDER, assigned to pulmonary, allergy and critical care indications, after many years as in industry. Her involvement in a 2009 FDA/Industry/Academia Safety Graphics WG, led to subsequent interests in safety graphics, use of estimands and benefit-risk for structured thinking and assessment. Susan’s interests in graphics, estimands, safety and benefit-risk assessment is for focusing on the question: making clear and precise decisions aligned with the clinical goals of the program by using structured thinking and framing during drug development and reporting, for the benefit of public health.
