Dina Katabi is the Andrew & Erna Viterbi Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and the director of the MIT center for wireless networks and mobile computing. Katabi is a MacArthur Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Engineering. She received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award in 2013, a TR10 in 2012, the IEEE William R. Bennett prize in 2009, and an NSF CAREER award in 2005. Katabi is a co-founder of Emerald, which was presented to President Obama in the White House.
