This session provides a fun overview of the basics of project management for clinical trial execution. We will use well-established project management principles and methodologies as a basis for comparison with innovative approaches that have the potential for improved effectiveness using case studies and lessons learned.

Learning Objectives

Describe fundamental components of at least one project management methodology for managing a clinical trial; Compare and contrast differences between project management approaches; Evaluate when one method may be beneficial and when other approaches should be considered.
